Bhaaratham is a controversial film about the destructing condition of our nation, India, Directed by Lourthunathan.
One in three films talks about women security, abusing and rape, farmer protest and the life of the Indian army. Bhaaratham is one among them. The first courageous applause must be given to the protagonist of the film, the female lead Shanaaya. Taking up a bold action as a female needs auxiliary valour.
The film starts with the radio busy singing proclamations. Amidst the preparation of the state’s capital for the Republic Day, a girl has no security is a bleeding message they convey. The Tamil language has a maxim of saying, “A Virgin and Three wolves’ ‘ (Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaaniyum) According to the Tamil maxim, looking disciplined and well dressed, three ruthless men enter their bloody thirst into the innocent girl in the middle of the road. Making a breezy night waiting for the warmth of Republic day witnessing another silent wail of a girl in the nation.

The entire film is compressed in a way of a song. Three men cross the way of a mentally unstable beggar to knock down a girl. At the end of the film, the distinguishing making reveals the senselessness and impotency in a six-sense being. The moral values are disrespected in the looks of a beggar is the filthy reality of our nation.
Apart from the transparent reality, the story has no motive at the end. A controversial subject and sensitive story must have a personal opinion or public conclusive ideas as a climax. In this way, Bhaaratham has failed to make a conclusive mark in this film.
