Core content: The story of this “COFFEINED AT 15” AWARD WINNING SHORT FILM is a girl is coffined at the age of 15 by her father for rejecting the marriage with thalibans. The girls begs and she also course her father for Coffeining her alive.
Appreciation and critic:
The first thing that attracted me while watching this in recent time we have seen a lot of protest against hisaab and the restrictions that are imposed on women’s in especially islamic countries. In this film the director was willing to show that how the girls are facing difficulties in living against thalibans and their system’s and how their own fathers are rude on them.
The second thing that i like in this film is that she begs her father to leave her for her brother and younger sister to take care of them. And god immediately listen to her words and punishes her father immediately by hitting hammer himself on his fingers.
I have really like in this film is that the film is too short but it’s truly impacting. The director have shown how rude some people on their religious system which is imposed on their family and life. And how the god immediately listened to the little girls prays and the curse that she made on her father.
The thing I don’t like in this movie is that the film is too short and the director didn’t shown why she is being coffeined by her father. If he would have shown it then it will have been the best.
As I said, there is no clarity in the film that why she is coffeined alive. But at the start he have shown that the girl in the marriage dress and some talk regarding marriage. With that we have to understand that she is coffeined because she of that she don’t want to marry a thaliban.
Let us now discuss about the acting of the actor’s in this award winning short film, as we can see only few members in the film the girl and her father are screened more and the dialogue are only there for that female lead. The girl was acted and expressed her emotion on the screen is too good. I am really impressed by her acting. The remaining actors in the films are also tried and given their best.
Now let’s talk about the music and editing of the film. The background score is good. Editing is also good to watch. There is no remark to show on the editing. Background music is like pure islamic music.
Let’s now discuss about the direction and the story of the film. The director has given his best. He shown what’s really happening in some persons life and he also wanted to show that Allah is always watching everything and listening tho their words and prays. We need to give the entire credit to the director for showing the conspiracy happening in some countries and that too he have shown it in very short time. And the message he want to give is delivered straight forwardly. The dare of the director we have to appreciate for that. Especially for selecting these kind of subject and showing his intentions.
The moral of the story is never be rude on anyone and never impose religion on the people, remember Allah is always watching and listening to you and your prayers. Allah will punish you for the bag you do and will bless you for your good things that you do.
