About Top 10 Malaysian Short films:
What makes a good movie can be a rather subjective opinion, I’ll go with something I quite enjoyed watching though I must admit I’m not a big follower of local productions. The majority of Malaysian and Singaporean Indians are Tamils so obviously they watch Tamil movies a lot more than other languages. But there are also small communities of Telugu, Malayalee, Punjabi and Sikhs. Most Telugu and Malayalee’s are assimilated into the Tamil culture through mixed marriages and just being Malaysians/Singaporeans. So they mostly watch Tamil movies as well.
However in TV channels, they play Telugu, Malayalam and even Kannada language movies. So in short, yes we do watch movies of other languages.
