Core content: The story of this citiZEN – Tamil Short film is how the situations of life is turning a good person into bad and at the same time how abad person is becoming a good one.
Appreciation and critic:
The first thing that attracted me while watching this movie is karna’s character, this character is consists of all kind of emotions in it. He didn’t have job and the need of money for the character mad him do chain snatching and changed his character. Later he changed by his friends words. That’s a part that character is quite mass.
Karna’s character is that i liked in the Tamil Short film because he turned as a bad person and starts chain snatching for his need of money for his daughter’s operation. Later he turned as a good person after his friends words and gets the job.
As I said few areas in the film made me admire them. These are common in every film but the climax in the film is good, the way hero have changed by the words of his friend. And after getting job he returned the amount instead of chain he snatched from the lady and turned to be a good human being.
The only thing I didn’t liked in this Tamil Short film is that camera angels and lighting of the film. Few shots are good but at the same time few of the shots in the film are too bad. Background light is covering the faces of the characters. It could have been done better of lightning and camera angles. Overall it’s ok.
Can we talk about the Music? I like the music in this film. In this film the background music is pleasant and good but at some stage of the music it’s like a horror music. The music while that is running while titles is also good.
Now let’s talk about the major part of the film which are dialogue, dubbing and editing, in this film dialogues are too good and the conversation between karna and his friend which made karna change as a good citizen. Dubbing is also good. When it comes to editing at some areas there is no music and any sound, for a moment I thought that sound is in mute mode. Overall it’s good.
Let’s talk about the direction and the story of the film, in this film the story line is too close to nowadays youths life how they are facing the financial issues and the situations causing them to choose a wrong path of the life. And it also tells how to stay strong in those kind of situations and come back in life. The way that the director was directed the film is excellent.
The moral of the film is that the situations maybe worst and the problems are too much. But there will be a solution for every probably. For those situations choosing wrong path is not the right decision.
