Sita Ramam Plot:
The story starts with Mujahideen, a radical Pakistani, who disapproves of the cordial ties between Kasmiri Muslims and Hindus. He is convinced that the Indian Army is the reason for their unity, and he intends to break that bond through brainwashing youths.
Afreen, on the other hand, is a ferocious Pakistani living in London who despises anything Indian. She makes the decision to visit her grandfather, Pakistan Army Brigadier Tariq, in Pakistan for a number of reasons. Sadly, she learns that her grandfather has passed away as soon as she is in Pakistan.
In his will, Tariq requests Afreen to deliver a letter that was written by Ram, an Indian Army lieutenant to his lover, Sita Mahalakshmi, in 1965. At first Afreen refuses the request, but in order to receive Tariq’s fortune, she later agrees to deliver the letter. The story continues as Afreen learn more about Ram’s life and his relationship with Tariq, his grandfather, during her journey of searching Sita Mahalakshmi.

Appriciation and Critics of Sita Ramam:
Sita Ramam solves the mystery involving the film’s main two characters, Lieutenant Ram and Sita Mahalakshmi. Without diluting the story’s importance, the film is loaded with patriotism, betrayals, action, and romance. The director does a superb job of making the audience feel the characters’ emotions. I would like to make a special mention to Dulqer Salman and Mrinal Thakur for their outstanding lead performances. Overall, Hanu Raghavapudi’s Sita Ramam is a stunning love letter to Indian cinema.
