Hera, Zeb, and Kallus: Is a Happy Ending Possible?
Hera’s survival was always expected in the “Star Wars Rebels” finale due to her involvement in the Rebellion, including her appearance at the Battle of Endor. Sabine confirms this and reveals that Hera was pregnant with Kanan’s son, Jacen, at the end of the series. Despite keeping their love secret, Kanan’s death becomes even more tragic. The fate of Ezra and Thrawn after the Purrgils’ hyperspace jump is left ambiguous, as exposure to hyperspace typically proves fatal. However, fans speculate Ezra’s use of the Force may have allowed for survival. His message to the Ghost Crew hints at a possible means of returning. Various scenarios, like traveling beyond the galaxy or Sabine and Ahsoka’s search in the Unknown Regions, are suggested for his return. Ezra’s fate remains open-ended, offering potential for future storytelling.
