Liger Movie: Plot
In the boxing-themed action film Liger, Vijay Deverakonda plays a kickboxer who adheres to a rigorous fitness regimen. He is a master in martial arts and kickboxing as well, and he goes above and beyond to change himself, even travelling to Thailand for his training.

Vijay Deverakonda was slated to make his film debut in the Hindi and Telugu industries with Liger. Prior to the January 2021 announcement of the title Liger, the movie had already been announced in 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic caused the principal photography to stop after March 2020, which started in January 2020. After the pandemic suspensions, production then resumed in February 2021. In February 2022, Liger finished filming and came to an end.

Tanishk Bagchi and Vikram Montrose wrote the songs for the movie. The film will be concurrently released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada alongside Hindi and Telugu dubs. The movie is made by Puri Connects and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The release date for Liger is set for August 25, 2022. Star India Network has acquired the film’s satellite rights, while Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the streaming rights online.
