The Sandman Series Plot
The Sandman narrates the tale of Dream/Morpheus, the titular Sandman, just like the comic. Morpheus, the embodiment of dreams and one of the seven Endless, was kidnapped in an occult ceremony in 1916. Dream escapes after being imprisoned for 106 years and embarks on a mission to bring peace to his domain, The Dreaming.

Appreciation and Critics
I enjoy the series, and I think all the characters are great. There is no sense of urgency or compulsion at the start of the season. Most interesting are the characters. The actor did a good job portraying the Dream character, and he really nailed his acting and moments. When filming the sequences, the series accomplished an impressive VFX. I suggest you watch the series because it has earned generally favorable reviews as a whole.
The Sandman premiered on August 5, 2022, with a further episode premiering on August 19 on the streaming platform Netflix.
