Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Jawan,’ which was released on September 7th, has been experiencing continuous growth in its box office earnings. On a remarkable Saturday, the movie achieved record-breaking single-day earnings, raking in approximately Rs 67 crores.

Many assumed this impressive figure was due to the expectation that audiences might avoid theaters on Sunday because of the India-Pakistan cricket match. However, ‘Jawan’ once again surprised everyone by posting even higher earnings on Sunday.
Early estimates, according to industry experts, suggest that ‘Jawan’ is likely to generate an astounding Rs 70-71 crore solely from the Hindi version of the film on Sunday.
This figure may even reach up to Rs 73 crores, marking a significant achievement, especially considering it’s only the fourth day since its release. With this impressive performance, ‘Jawan’ is poised to have an opening weekend earning around Rs 252 crores, as estimated by Sacnilk Entertainment, making it the highest-ever opening weekend for any Hindi movie.

Additionally, ‘Jawan’ is achieving remarkable success in South Indian territories with its Hindi version, a feat unprecedented in Bollywood. Industry experts anticipate the film to surpass the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office, especially with Monday’s collections factored in. The film’s ability to maintain its strong performance on Monday, potentially earning a substantial Rs 40-50 crores, will set the trend for its performance in the days to come.
Given the impressive figures ‘Jawan’ is posting, it wouldn’t be a shock if it quickly joins ‘Gadar 2’ in the Rs 500 crore club. This achievement would provide even more cause for celebration within the industry!
