On September 4th, Kalanithi Maran, the head of Sun Pictures, awarded composer Anirudh Ravichander a check as recognition for his outstanding work in ‘Jailer.’ Subsequently, as a token of appreciation, he surprised Anirudh with a brand-new Porsche car for his significant contribution to the film.
In its fourth week, ‘Jailer,’ starring the renowned Rajinikanth, continues to enjoy a triumphant run at the box office, attracting a large audience to theaters despite the unauthorized release of a high-definition (HD) print online.

On August 10, ‘Jailer,’ featuring Rajinikanth, made its theatrical debut in various languages, earning accolades from fans who lauded Anirudh Ravichander for his exceptional background music and songs.
Then, on September 4, Sun Pictures’ head, Kalanithi Maran, paid a visit to Anirudh Ravichander’s office, where he handed over a check as a token of appreciation. Subsequently, Maran offered Anirudh a choice between a BMW and a Porsche car, both of which were on display. After carefully considering his options, the composer opted for the Porsche, which was then presented to him as a gift.

Previously, Kalanithi Maran extended a profit-sharing offer to Rajinikanth and also gave him a BMW car as a gesture of appreciation. In addition, director Nelson Dilipkumar received both a check and a Porsche car as part of his recognition.
Nelson Dilipkumar, both the writer and director of ‘Jailer,’ has achieved a remarkable feat as the film ranks among the top-grossing Tamil movies of 2023. Notably, the movie features cameo appearances by superstars Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff, adding to its action-packed appeal. Additionally, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast including Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, and several others in supporting roles. The technical team behind the film includes composer Anirudh Ravichander, editor Nirmal, and cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan. ‘Jailer’ was produced by Sun Pictures with a substantial budget ranging from Rs 200 to 240 crore.
