The pre-launch event of the movie ‘Jawan’ directed by director Atlee was held in Chennai on August 30th. The gathering, held at Sri Sairam Engineering College, was attended by the prominent figures from movie ‘Jawan’ like Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Atlee, and Anirudh Ravichander. Regrettably, the movie’s female lead, Nayanthara, was absent from the event. During his address to the audience, SRK commended the film’s actors and production team, conveying his appreciation.
Shah Rukh Khan visited Chennai for the audio launch of his upcoming movie ‘Jawan’ which has its trailer released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The movie is to be released on 7th September, 2023. Watch trailer here.
The occasion also featured the presence of Vijay Sethupathi, alongside Atlee and Anirudh Ravichander, who is the film’s composer. During the event, Shah Rukh assigned unique titles to each team member of ‘Jawan’. He had the members of the movie showered with affection and compliment.

Showering Vijay Sethupathi with praise, Shah Rukh Khan held him in high regard. “Let me take a moment to express my deep admiration for Vijay sir. I had a chance to meet him in Melbourne, and later during Nayanthara ji’s wedding here. After that, we decided to collaborate. The amount I’ve learned from you is truly immeasurable,” he remarked. Shah Rukh Khan discussed his positive experience working within the South Film industry, highlighting the valuable lessons he gained from his interactions and collaborations with diverse individuals. He expressed his intent to absorb knowledge and insights from his counterparts and to showcase those lessons to the Tamil audience. “My purpose here is to learn from all of you and then share that acquired wisdom with the people of Tamil Nadu,” he affirmed.
