Since the release of the first Deadpool film in 2016, Rob Liefeld, the character’s creator, has been a staunch supporter of bringing his creation to the big screen. This enthusiasm extends to the third film, which is currently under the direction of Shawn Levy.
Liefeld has consistently expressed his excitement for the upcoming movie, and he recently shared a post on his X page (formerly Twitter) made by Deadpool Updates. The post announced the release of the first official Funko Pops from Deadpool 3, which have already been listed on Amazon UK. In response, the comic book creator shared more positive comments about the movie.

Back in 1990, Rob Liefeld collaborated with writer Fabian Nicieza to co-create Deadpool. The character first appeared in New Mutants #98 and was initially introduced as an antagonist within the New Mutants and the broader X-Men universe.
However, over time, Deadpool underwent a transformation, evolving into an anti-hero renowned for his incessant humor and tendency to break the fourth wall. These distinctive traits were expertly translated into Ryan Reynolds’ portrayal of the character.
