Introduction: The Tribeca Film Festival is an annual film festival organized by Tribeca Enterprises. It takes place each spring in New York City, showcasing a diverse selection of film, episodic, talks, music, games, art, and immersive programming.
The Tribeca Film Festival is a prominent film event showcasing a diverse selection of independent films including documentaries, narrative features, and shorts. There are about 100 features shown, and well over 8,000 features submitted. It is a recognized outlet for independent filmmakers.
Held in participating theaters in the Tribeca neighborhood and lower Manhattan, the Festival also features panel discussions with noted film personalities and others in the film industry.

Short film Submission eligibility criteria: Short films should be under 40 minutes (39:59 total run time). including documentaries, narratives, animation, and experimental films.

The Tribeca Virtual Film Festival offers an online, festival-style platform for feature and short work looking to make their online premiere. Films submitting to this section will be considered by the Tribeca programming team who will select a curated program of films to premiere online during the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival as part of our official slate, bringing the Tribeca experience and the best in independent film to online audiences nationwide.

Please note the online entry form will require you to submit a password-protected URL that links to your project in order to be completed, so plan accordingly and be sure the project has been fully uploaded to the viewing platform and the link and password work prior to filling out your online entry form.
