After the ace filmmaker’s ‘Karnan‘ starring Dhanush it was announced that his next movie will have Dhruv Vikram as the lead and will be produced by Pa. Ranjith. Now the project is ready to start its progress by the end of August in Thoothukudi and the locality near it.
The movie is a biopic and Dhruv is about to play the real life character of Kabbadi player Manathi Ganesh. Manathi Ganesh was born in a small village near Thoothukudi in an underpreviliged household. He achieved success in national and Asian level Kabaddi matches. It is also noteworthy that he was bestowed with the Arjuna Award by the Central Government in 1995 . The setting of the story is set in the backdrop of the late 90s. It is said that Dhruv Vikram has spent a few months in kabaddi training as a part of the preparation of the project.
