Introduction:

Its normal to get movies from source language dubbed or remade to another language. While many such dubbed and remake movies are considered to be far behind from the original movie, there are some instances where case is entirely difference. There are some remade movies that are considered to be at par to the original movie or even better than the original movies. Here are a few Tamil remake movies that is a hit and successful just like the original movie or even more.

“Chandramukhi” is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language horror-comedy film directed by P. Vasu. It is a remake of “Manichitrathazhu”, the Malayalam original movie. Starring Rajinikanth, Jyothika, and Nayanthara, the film revolves around a psychiatrist investigating paranormal occurrences in a haunted mansion. The film revolves around an upright police officer taking a courageous stand against India’s deeply entrenched caste system.
