Another person pointed out that despite the movie’s having a budget of more than 150 crores. But, it appears that the creators did not pay close attention to detail and doubled up a piece of fabric to resemble a baby.

“Amazing acting sequence, only if we assume that she is holding a baby,” a tweeter who shared Vaani’s fight scene said.

Another spotted a scene where Ranbir’s character is carrying the infant in his arms.

“The baby’s worse in this shot, straight from a horror movie, has no face,” a social media user pointed out while sharing a laugh-out-loud emoticon.

The movie scene was also compared to a sequence from Bahubali, where the audience says that the Bahubali team executed their scene better and in a proper manner.

The release of “Shamshera” via OTT platforms was approved by the Delhi High Court last week, but only after the film’s studio paid a deposit of Rs 1 crore to the registry. The decision was made as a result of a complaint filed by Bikramjeet Singh Bhullar accusing the filmmakers of violating his copyright in the book “Kabu na chhadein Khet.”

However, the judge noted that the film was released in theatres last month and was scheduled to be released on OTT platforms on Friday. Therefore, to balance the equities between the parties, it would be appropriate to allow the release of the film on OTT platforms subject to the deposit of the said amount by August 22. If the money is not deposited in time, there shall be an injunction on the further telecast of the film, the court added.
