The official trailer for Trisha Krishnan’s upcoming revenge drama film, “The Road,” was unveiled by directors Pa Ranjith and Gautham Vasudev Menon on September 21, 2023. The movie, written and directed by Arun Vaseegaran, is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 6.

The Road trailer
“The Road: Revenge in 462 kms” is inspired by a true story from the early 2000s. In the three-minute trailer, Trisha Krishnan’s character (unnamed) is depicted on a flyover, questioning the events with a voiceover, “What exactly happened here? Why did it happen?” The trailer then showcases a series of accidents occurring frequently at a specific location on NH44. Towards the trailer’s conclusion, Trisha expresses, “This is something much bigger than I expected.”
The film “The Road” revolves around the mysterious series of accidents at that highway spot, with Trisha portraying the role of a determined journalist committed to unraveling the mystery.
In addition to Trisha Krishnan, the movie boasts a talented ensemble cast that includes Dancing Rose Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna, and Vela Ramamoorthy, among others, in significant roles. The film’s editing is handled by AR Shivaraj, and it is produced by AAA Cinemaa Private Limited.
